Back to School Fun!

Yes I said it...back to school FUN! Well it's been pretty crazy getting into the swing of things. So here's an update on what has been going on in my life...

I've started working with the track team. I spent a ridiculous amount of hours cleaning and rearranging the equipment room (where all the shirts, competition stuff, etc. is). It was definitely worth it when my boss came and saw it and told me I needed a day off!!! I miss all my athletic training but I'll be back into it pretty soon.

I have taken a downward spiral with my back. It's terrible but I'm working on getting into a neurologist before my functionality is gone. To add to all of this, JT was sick all summer if ya'll did not know. He is up and down with it but is going to see an ENT because he might have throat/mouth cancer :/ it's just an unhealthy year I guess :(

Wellllll before school started I had a fun fun fun fun fun party. It was a Mix-And-Match theme! I was silver and gold as you will see and it was tons of craziness and a great way to wind down the summer!

So school started. I love it because I'm a nerd but I'm exhausted and ready to write millions of papers. Yay for graduate school! I talked to the head of my graduate program and Baylor has made competitive cheerleading a sport!!! I might get the position out there next year and CANNOT wait!

First of all: The Beach. A few weekends ago I went to surfside and stayed at Diana's beach house. It was SO fun!

Bogart was so cute at the beach! He wasn't too sure of it but fell in love! Below is a video of what he did!

So Bo was pretty tired after the beach...so we took him back in the wagon! He's so adorable.

Ok next step is my hair. You might be able to tell that it is a little darker. I put in a wash in it when I visited Megan (before going to the beach). It isn't too dark...but you'll be able to tell in the pictures better later on (Hailey's birthday).

Now is the most important part of this. Our beloved dog Buttercup had a rough week. She spent two days at the hospital from an emergency surgery. Her stomach flipped inside out (which is normal in deep chested, large dogs-and we all know Cupp has the Holbrooks) They went in and pinned down her stomach so it can't flip again and removed her spleen. She survived the surgery which was amazing and such a blessing. I don't know what are family would do without her. She is the best dog in the world.

So this weekend I came home to Dallas for Hailey's 3rd birthday! I can't believe how fast they are growing up! Here are my favorite pictures :) (don't forget to check out how I'm a "brunette")

Crazy Cat Lady and More Craziness!

Before I start talking about furniture and cats...I thought I'd show these adorable pictures of Bo. He is only 5 months old (as of Aug. 3rd) and is SO BIG! (about 65 pounds) He is so cute sleeping on my body pillow here!

This is his normal position...he also likes to put his lip on your face...and I still think I'm an amazing fake sleeper :)

Now as to why I am a crazy cat lady. This is Sasha (who I like to call Sausage). I am now officially insane with 3 cats! Of course there is something special about Sasha. The reason I have "adopted" her is because my cousin Megan is preggers! Her husband is an ass and won't clean the litter box which she can't do because its bad for the baby. SO to prevent a trip to the pound, I adopted her! Now another thing about Sasha is she is a NINJA! I searched for her through my apartment (2 bed 2 1/2 bath) for 2 HOURS last night! I assumed she was outside and looked for her out there with no luck. In the morning, my dresser drawers were randomly open...turns out that's where she was. Crazy girl gave me a heart attack!

ANYWAYS I decided my house needed some rearranging. I love it and it looks SO good...but it took a long time and now my bedroom is a DISASTER...more pictures of it to come! SIDE NOTE: I couldn't have done it without Loren...esp move anything b/c I'm forever broken. :)

Summer in Dallas!

So I know I haven't blogged in awhile so this might be a little lengthy! I spent about a month in Dallas and here is what happened:

I was supposed to be studying for my certification exam for athletic training, which I did, BUT the process for registering was a little too complicated for this blondey and I ended up not registering so I couldn't take it! I was SO upset...but I'll be taking it in November :/

So we celebrated Sphen's 24th birthday (OLD MAN!)

Best Friends and God-Daughters

So my mom's best friend from high school was in town this past week (her name is Sherri too!) She is my godmother and her daughter Kristen is my mom's god daughter. We went shopping in San Marcus and stayed at a cute little bed and breakfast. It was so much fun and so relaxing!

We went into a small town called Wimberly. I could never live in such a tiny place, but this was DELICIOUS. It was an ice cream cone with a cupcake in it!

This is Bagoris (real name Nigel)- I named him after my two kitties because he looked like them combined. I wanted to bring him home so badly!

This is Lucky Leigh. She stayed with us (of course)! She only had 3 legs-one got bitten by a rattle snake when she was just a pup :(
